Dec. 18th, 2004 04:42 amI have finally seen the full version of The Return of the King, and I must say that it rocked most hardcore. Especially the Mouth of Sauron.
Wonder of wonders, I just may be getting some spare time soon. Gods alone know what I'm going to do with it, but seeing as how I'm a girl, I'll probably spend it on the phone.
Things are very interesting at my house right now; I have three female cats, and all of them are in heat. Thankfully, none of the males are equipped to do anything about this, but it does make for some entertaining concerts at night.
I'm also beginning to think that Phantom is brain-damaged, and I say this only because she persistently picks fights with cats at least four times her mass. Well, that and because she's borderline psychotic. For some reason, she seems to react as though anything larger than me is just furniture, and she doesn't respond well when parts of the background attempt to lay hands on her. She had something of a fit the other day when Greg picked her up; it ended up with him swearing profusely about some blood and a slightly punctured shirt and my other roommate frantically looking for bandages. I'm sure that she didn't mean to land on him after jumping away from the moving wall that had picked her up. But nobody needed stitches (no matter how big a deal they made of it) and nobody was damaged more than superficially.
And it's off to bed for me. I've stayed awake far too long for my tastes on far too little sleep. And I get to go to work tomorrow. Again. Yippee. Perhaps I can turn this into a plausible excuse for not visiting family again this year.
